Two posts in two days?!? That's a record!

So I didn’t post for the entire month of July… sorry guys. It’s been a totally crazy summer. I have been away for the majority of the summer, but I only have two more trips planned before school starts.

I spent a week in Sparwood BC at an Irish Family Reunion where I met third cousins from Louisiana that I didn’t know I had. I thought that only happened in movies, but I really do have distant relatives from down south. It was a typical BC holiday week with white water rafting, hiking every day, cliff diving (which I am now addicted too.. but kind of hard to do in Saskatoon).

After my first trip to BC I came home to work for three days, do lots of laundry, and I was off to BC again. This time I was off to visit two good friends, Jessica and Mike, which I went to The Gambia with. It was totally worth the total of 34 hours of driving by myself. After this trip I am in serious danger of becoming a typical Saskatchewanite and move to BC as soon as I graduate. That was another very busy week of meeting new people, camping, hiking up mountains, museums, being an insomniac for the sake of art : ). It was an amazing trip because when I had that much time to think in the car, plus being in a totally new environment I got so much perspective on life.

So after a quick road trip to Calgary this weekend with Chadly I am back in Saskatoon to stay… until the last week in August, but that is two whole weeks of solid Saskatoon time : )

For the CPC people, it’s only thirty days till school is back….. I hope you all have had a crazy good summer.
