My ears will be ringing for days...
Now I see why Evan loves Pearl Jam, but seeing them five times on the same tour is a bit much…
As I expected they are amazing. Then played a solid two and a half hours show complete with THREE encores, including at least five minutes of deafening cheering between each one. To start off the second encore they covered the Guess who song ‘Runnin Back to Saskatoon’ and even covered a Neil Young song during the third.
I really admire their choice of Opening band. They were called ‘Super Sucks’ (I’m not kidding) and they lived up to their name. Not that they were totally bad, but they sounded like every other garage band. The lead singer was an Eddie want to be, so when Pearl Jam finally came out it was all the sweeter.
I am still not sure if the concert was worth the $70… sorry Evan…. But it was a good end to a crazy day. Today I finished registration at CPC, and it was supposed to be my last day at work… until the new nanny that I have spent the last few weeks training all of a sudden decided to quit - today of all days. I think that the look of shock on her face yesterday when the Reid’s house was a little crazy as usually should have been a warning sign. So now I am back at school full time and still working full time until a new nanny is found and then I have to train ANOUTHER nanny. And that’s not an easy thing, but I still love working there… A clone would make it much easier to multitask…
And my insomnia is back in full force, just in time for school to start... coincidence? I think not!
